It has felt like winter this weekend, and I have to say I like it! Cold temps, semi-white ground, clear & bitter starry nights. One big snowstorm this winter? I hope so!
Roasted Beet Borcht… this is not a “traditional” borcht, but is great just the same. It turns a lovely shade pink with a dollop of sour cream swirled in. Ingredients: local beets, thyme, carrots, garlic, veggie stock, fresh dill, red wine vinegar, kosher salt, pepper & a bit of honey. Garnished w. sour cream & fresh dill. 13. per quart served w. bread. Vegetarian, gluten-free & vegan minus sour cream garnish.
Beef & Black Bean Chili w. Chipotle…I hope this isn’t redundant for you! I always get lots of rave reviews and lots of requests for this chili! Black beans, organic ground beef, diced tomatoes, chipotle in adobo, canola oil, red onions, chili powder, cumin & lime. Garnished w. lime marinated red onions, sour cream & cheddar cheese. 13. per quart served w. bread. Gluten-Free (please specify!!! that way I can be sure to buy the g-f chipotle!)
