Soups & Sweet 9.12.13

It was wonderful reconnecting with many of you last week!  What a perfect evening it was for the return of soup!  This Thursday looks to be a transition day- classic battle between late summer heat & humidity and early fall crispness.  Order a quart or two for dinner or lunch over the weekend! 

Thai Chicken w. Ginger & Coconut… full of flavor and a fave of many!  Ingredients:  canola oil, chicken, garlic, ginger, lemongrass, shallots, tomatoes, potatoes, coconut milk, kaffir lime leaves, scallions, thai curry paste, scallions, kosher salt, pepper, cilantro.  13. per quart served with bread.  Gluten-Free

Butternut Squash w. Parmesan…creamy and filling, YUM!  Ingredients:  butter, olive oil, onions, celery, veggie stock, parmesan cheese, butternut squash, sage, kosher salt, pepper, pinch of nutmeg & pinch of cayenne.  Garnished with fresh parsley and croutons.  13. per quart served with bread.  Vegetarian, Gluten-Free (minus crouton garnish)

Sweet Treat: Wicked Good Chocolate Cookies- 1. per cookie
