And the soups are….

Cheddar-Corn Chowder w. Bacon & Scallions…the perfect time of year for chowder!  Fresh local corn & potatoes, lots of sharp cheddar & salty bacon- yum, yum!  Ingredients:  bacon, onions, carrots, celery, yukon golds, chicken stock, coriander, corn, sharp cheddar, whole milk, worcestershire sauce, kosher salt, pepper, scallions & fresh parsley.  Gluten-free  13. per quart served with bread.

Black-Eyed Pea & Kale Chili…fresh kale abounds right now and adds a wonderful, earthy flavor to this smoky chili!  Ingredients:  olive oil, onions, celery, garlic, tomatoes, black-eyed peas, veggie stock, chipotle in adobo, cumin, coriander, honey, dijon mustard, kale, kosher salt & pepper.  Garnished w. optional monterey jack cheese.  Gluten-Free, Vegetarian, Vegan (minus cheese garnish)  13. per quart served w. bread  (if you like less spice let me know- I can adjust!)
