Soups & Sweet for 10.31.13

Soups & Sweet Treat for Halloween!  How fun!  Order a quart or two to eat pre/post trick or treating- or while handing candy out to tricksters. 

Coconut Curried Squash Soup…pretty to look at and yummy to eat!  Ingredients:  canola oil, onions, garlic, fresh ginger, butternut squash, curry powder, coconut milk, jalapeno.  Garnished w. roasted pumpkin seeds.  13. per quart- vegan, vegetarian & gluten free

Pasta & Meatball Soup…YUM!  Ingredients:  ground turkey, garlic, parm cheese, milk, bread, kosher salt & pepper.  Olive oil, carrots, onions, garlic, celery, tomatoes, chicken stock, baby pasta, kosher salt & pepper.  Garnished w. parm cheese.

Sweet Treat: brownie drops 1.

Soups & Sweet Treat 10.24.13

After what has felt like one of the longest periods of Indian Summer on record, cool autumn temps are finally here!  What better way to welcome the chill then with a quart or two of yummy soup!

Broccoli-Cheddar Soup…this soup is thickened with potato as opposed to milk.  It is creamy with whole broccoli florets mixed in.  If you are vegan let me know- I add the cheddar at the end & can leave it out of yours!  Ingredients: canola oil, carrots, celery, onion, broccoli, potato, fresh thyme, cheddar cheese, kosher salt & pepper.  Garnished w. additional cheddar & sour cream.  Vegetarian, Gluten Free VEGAN IF SPECIFIED!  13. per quart served w. bread

Beef & Black Bean Chili…this chili is sooooo good and a fave of many!  Ingredients: local ground beef, black beans, red onions, tomatoes, chipotle  in adobo, fresh cilantro, kosher salt & pepper.  Garnished w. lime marinated red onions, sour cream & jack cheese.  Gluten Free (please let me know so I can be sure to use the correct chipotle in adobo).  13. per quart served w. bread

Soups & Sweet Treat 10.10.13

Sorry for the delay posting!  I have had two requests for this week- meatballs & elbow noodles! 

Pasta E Fagioli…pasta & beans Ingredients:  onion, carrots, celery, garlic, olive oil, tomatoes, veggie stock, white beans, elbow noodles, parsley, basil, oregano, kosher salt & pepper.  Garnished w. Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.  Vegetarian & Vegan (minus the cheese) 13. per quart served w. bread

Albondigas…Mexican meatball soup…Ingredients:  Meatballs- ground turkey, rice, garlic, cilantro, cumin, mint, kosher salt & pepper. Soup: chicken stock, carrots, celery, onions, garlic, summer squash, zucchini, cumin, mexican oregano, kosher salt & pepper. Garnished w. tortilla chips & jack cheese.  Gluten-Free, 13. per quart served w. bread

Chocolate Cupcakes w. Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting- 2. per cupcake.
