Classic Chicken Noodle…one of my daughter’s friends requested this soup. She often has soup in her lunch on Fridays. Happy to oblige- Classic Chicken Noodle is the perfect antidote to the mid-winter blues! Mulligatawny Soup…Ingredients: olive oil, garlic, onions, celery, carrots, lentils, tomatoes, chickpeas, basmati rice, tomato juice, curry powder, cumin, coriander, coconut milk, kosher salt, pepper & fresh cilantro. 13. per quart served w. bread. Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten-Free

Beef & Barley Soup…a winter classic that will help restore your cold body! Corn & Roasted Red Pepper Chowder…this is a beautiful soup-the pureed roasted red pepper give it a gorgeous color. Cauliflower, Potato & Cheese Soup…thick & creamy, perfect for a cold winter night! Ingredients: olive oil, garlic, onions, celery, carrots, cauliflower, yukon gold potatoes, veggie stock, whole milk, cheddar cheese, pinch of nutmeg, dry mustard, kosher salt & pepper. 13. per quart served w. bread. Greek Orzo, Lemon, and Chicken Soup…think chicken noodle soup but (I think) better! Ingredients: chicken stock, orzo, eggs, lemon juice & zest, chicken, spinach, kosher salt & pepper. Garnished w. fresh dill. 13. per quart served w. bread

Soups & Sweet Treat 1.8.15

Happy New Year! After two weeks off, with two holidays in between, I am looking forward to taking the soup pots down! The winter months are made for soup, and this Thursday especially! The coldest weather of the season will be upon us- perfect for a bowl of warmth!

Beef & Black Bean Chili…This chili has a following…creamy from the black beans, meaty from local ground beef & smoky from chipotle peppers.
