Soup & Sweet Treat 10.22.15

What a weekend! Rain, hail,  snow, wind , sun & foliage- what a beautiful place we live in!

Thursday, soup day, is my oldest daughter’s 13th birthday!  I will be delivering a bit early so I can run home, hang some party decorations and celebrate my teenager!

Vegetarian Mulligatawny Soup…a favorite soup of many!  Ingredients:  canola oil, onions, garlic, celery, carrots, lentils, tomatoes, chickpeas, tomato juice, curry powder, cumin, coriander, cayenne, coconut milk, bit of honey, basmati rice, kosher salt, pepper, & fresh cilantro.  13. per quart served w. bread.  Vegetarian, Vegan & Gluten-Free

Broccoli Cheddar Soup…A classic & one that appeals to both kids & grown-ups!  Ingredients:  butter, onions, garlic, flour, half-and-half, veggie stock, carrots, broccoli, cheddar cheese, kosher salt & pepper.  Garnished w. extra cheddar, 13. per quart served w. bread.  Vegetarian

Sweet Treat: Lemon Cupcakes w. Lemon Frosting 2. each
