Black Bean & Chorizo Soup w. Avocado Crema…thanks to ground cumin and slightly spicy chorizo, this is a black Bean soup full of bold flavors. Ingredients : black beans, bay leaf, onions, thyme, parsley, chorizo, garlic, cumin, chicken stock, kosher salt and pepper. Garnished w. Acovado crema & quick pickled radishes. 13. Per quart served w. Bread. Gluten-free

Corn Chowder…classic corn chowder! Ingredients : butter, onions, carrots, celery, garlic, potatoes, veggie stock, coriander, corn, cheddar cheese, light cream, scallions, kosher salt and pepper. 13. Per quart served w. Bread. Vegetarian & gluten-free

Soups & Sweet Treat 5.17.18

Reminder: as the days are growing warmer PLEASE leave some form of ice pack in your cooler, bag, box etc. I deliver between 1:30-3:30 – it is important that your soup remains properly chilled!

Thai Red Curry Shrimp Noodle Soup…a bit of spice mellowed by coconut milk and lemon. A handful of rice noodles and some juicy shrimp make it a complete meal. Ingredients: canola oil, ginger, garlic, lemongrass, cilantro, turmeric, a bit of Thai red curry paste, pinch of sugar, veggie stock, fish sauce, coconut milk, shrimp, rice noodles and lime juice. Garnished w. Lime wedges & bean sprouts. 13. Per quart w. Bread. Gluten-free

Lemony Carrot and Cauliflower Soup…pretty to look at, full of good for you veggies and tastes great!  Ingredients: crushed coriander seeds, olive oil, garlic, onions, carrots, white miso, cauliflower, lemon zest, lemon juice, kosher salt and pepper. 13. Per quart  w. Bread. garnished w. Sunflower seeds and cilantro. Vegetarian, vegan & gluten-free

Soups & Sweet Treat 5.10.18

Spring is finally, really here!  Signs around my yard – daffodils, tulips, baby leaves, lettuce and chard growing, cherry blossoms – AND an orphaned baby squirrel that has taken up residence in my chicken coop. As a gardener I am not fond of what I call “tree rats”. However, this little rodent is bringing out my nurturing instincts. Hopefully he/she will join the other squirrels soon, OR become a chicken. Nature is always full of surprises.

Enjoy the sunshine and new growth this week. Order a quart or two of soup, and maybe enjoy it outside!
