Baked Potato Soup…I start to crave potatoes at this time of year.  Something about their earthy creaminess helps ground me , and protect me from the damp gloom of Kate fall. Ingredients: garlic, butter, leeks, veggie stock, bay leaves, russet potatoes, sour cream, kosher salt and pepper. Garnished w. Scallions, cheddar cheese, and optional bacon. 13. Per quart served with bread. Vegetarian (minus bacon) gluten-free 

Black Bean Pumpkin Soup …my ode to Halloween..Ingredients: black beans, tomato, onions, garlic, cumin, canola oil, beef broth, puréed pumpkin, ham, kosher salt and pepper. Garnished w. Sour cream and pumpkin seeds. 13. Per quart served w. Bread. Gluten-free 

Sweet Treat – giving us a sweet break this week!  I think by Thursday our sweet tooth will be dampened by all the Halloween candy we have eaten!
